A vacancy has occurred for a Training Officer to execute comprehensive training programs that enhance the performance of employees across departments in the company. This role is critical in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring consistent skill development, and supporting the company’s ambitious growth and market expansion goals in Kenya and the region.

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive training strategy in the company.
  • Ensure alignment of the training programs with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Operationalise a training delivery of in-person and mobile-based training programmes.
  • Oversee the rollout and effective use of the mobile-based training platform selected for agent self-training and automated evaluations.
  • Collaborate with departmental teams to update and enhance training curricula, modules, and materials.
  • Undertake TNA to identify training gaps and design intervention programmes continuously
  • Implement robust methods to track training outcomes and employee performance, ensuring measurable improvements in productivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Desired Characteristics

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing training programs for large, diverse teams.
  • Experience in using digital training tools and platforms for training
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure training effectiveness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • This role involves frequent travel across out key markets to oversee training operations and ensure program consistency.
