Our client is an engineering-led supplier of pumping systems, prime movers, power transmission products, and industrial equipment, supporting factories, institutions, contractors, and distributors with technical products and engineered solutions. The organization provides warranty support, maintenance, repairs, and ongoing technical services.

They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Sales Executive to support their sales team and ensure the smooth operation of sales processes. The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, developing strong relationships, and selling products.

  • Perform new lead generation, research, and chart progress using the CRM module.
  • Schedule and conduct client visits for both introductory and technical reasons.
  • Qualify prospects by assessing their client’s needs.
  • Scrutinize any personal sales reports and provide answers to questions if required.
  • Monitor your sales progress with the provided sales reports and provide feedback.
  • Study academic content relevant to your customer segment field including product manuals and watching technical videos.
  • Perform debt collection activities on your previous sales and report client misdemeanor.
  • Follow up with clients to post sales purchases to gain feedback, insight and record progress.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings to discuss strategies, insights, and present challenges faced.
  • Provide feedback to the management regarding lead quality, client feedback, and competitor analysis.
  • Engage in both internal and external skills enhancement, communicate with HR on interests and academics.
  • Participate in sales training sessions to improve techniques and stay current with industry knowledge and trends
  • Present significant customer updates on satisfaction, complaints, and suggested improvements.

  • Respond to enquiries emanating from customer groups.
  • Occasionally visit sites where a self-quoted project is involved in learning from a hands-on experience.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems is desirable
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
