We are seeking a results-oriented Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team, specifically focusing on our Logbook Loan products. This is a key role where you will directly help clients unlock the value in their vehicles to meet their urgent financial needs, for everything from business growth to personal emergencies.

We are looking for a candidate who is not just a sales professional, but a trusted financial partner to our clients. You will be at the forefront of our mission, providing transparent, fast, and responsible lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the sales of Logbook Loans by identifying and cultivating new client relationships.
• Manage and grow a healthy portfolio of clients, ensuring excellent customer service and timely repayments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through our quick and straightforward loan application process (with approvals in under 4 hours).
• Thoroughly explain our customer-friendly loan terms, including our “keep your car” policy, which allows clients to retain use of their vehicle.
• Operate with a high degree of integrity and professionalism to build lasting trust with our clientele.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Diploma in a business-related course (Finance, Marketing, or Business Management).
• At least 1 year of experience working with microfinance institutions or SMEs in a business development or sales role, with experience in logbook loans being a significant advantage.
• Proven record of meeting performance targets and growing client portfolios.
• Must be familiar with Nairobi and its surrounding areas from previous fieldwork.
• High level of personal integrity and a strong client service orientation.
